Can someone confirm I have understood this right?

The desk has 12 FX/Aux Sends. If I connect outboard fx to these, the outputs to these also send to internal fx cards.

For example if I have 3 cards each with 2 sends (total 6) and external outboard connected to 10 sends (5 stereo). I presume this means 4 of the aux sends will share out levels with 4 of the card sends?

Also if an internal FX send and an external FX send share an output does this mean if I send a level out it will be processed through both on whatever channel I do this?

Is there another way to send FX sends to 3 cards and 5 processors independently? If not guess I will have to send them mono!
