Latency Patching across time and space

Postby Casey_Pittman » Tue Nov 10, 2009 5:50 pm

Ok, someone tell me if I'm doing this correctly.

I'm sending out a drum buss to an external comp then bringing it back into channels 17 & 18. I'm then selecting both channels at the same time and adjusting the delay to 85 samples.

Now I'm also channel patching returns 25-32 to 9-16 because I have a bad fader board, so I then select all of those channels (9-16) and adjust the delay to 63 because that is is the total of 85 minus 22 (22 being the figure for channel patching)

So I'm guessing that it doesn't matter which delay time time I adjust first since it would come out the same in the end or, should I adjust the channel patch delay first then the buss returns?

Any thoughts?
