HUI Channel scroll sending faders crazy HELP PLZ!!

Postby mozza3186 » Sun Dec 06, 2009 10:23 pm

This is the first time i'v posted on this forum so hope someone can help me.

The problem i'm having is when the D8B is in hui mode everything works fine except for the bank / channel select buttons on the console. When either of the buttons are pressed to scroll through channels the faders pots and lights go crazy, as if they are trying to go all the way to the far left or far right (if that makes any sense). The only way i have found to stop this madness is by pressing automation bypass button for a few seconds. However the onscreen bank / channel select buttons work fine. This makes me think that the buttons on the console have broken but they work fine when used normally (HUI mode off).

I have checked bios settings and everything seems ok, i have also deleted startup file in case it was corrupt and all other functions on the system are working as one would expect.

Please could someone help shed some light on the situation i would be very grateful!!

Many thanks

Moz
