Lock or delete threads??

Postby Casey_Pittman » Thu Aug 16, 2012 6:12 pm

The "perfect circle audio" thread has been taken over and nothing good is coming from it. I know the posts have been reported already but it seems that IP addresses need to be blocked, not only the user accounts that are being made to further the insanity. I have a hard time believing that either of the 2 antagonist's actually own a d8b.

This may seem a little heavy handed but I think it is necessary.

That is all from me.....

Sorry guys, this thing has been to much time consuming and I'm on holidays these days.

Ejected.

Peter,

Thanks for handling it while on your holiday.

A quick thought, I'm sure you have a ton of other stuff that you do on top of your admin duties here. Would it be possible to appoint a couple of moderators that have the ability to do what you just did when things get out of hand in a thread? Obviously things like PM and reply hiccups are a little out of most folks abilities but general policing could be delegated. Just a thought....
