There is an HD24 yahoo group I suggest you check it out. The guy that developed the hd24tools program is a regular there and the amount of knowledge present is amazing! I don't even own an hd24 any longer and i still check it regularly.

There is also a guy who sells SATA caddies as well. very handy since IDE is slowly going away. also gives a list of HD's that do and don't work in the unit.

Re the HDs, I actually found a supply of 40gig IDE HDs (about $AUS25 ea) last week and as such, I should be OK for some time.

The real problem that I have is purchasing the actual caddies to hold the drives, In australia, they are quite expensive and often hard to come by.

I will look ast the forum.
