ethernet connection

Postby Carlo » Tue Dec 31, 2013 10:46 am

Dear All,

What type of EHERNET CROSSOVER cable do i need to connect two d8b's together? Is the CAT5 good? Once connected and the setup is configured according to Mackie manual what shall i see then? Mackie claims that the two mixers behave as one. How? If i select all faders from one mixer, will this effect the second mixer? any ideas?

Thanks and happy new year....

Carlo

Any good Ethernet will do the job, as for the two mixers behaving as one, not quite true. They still work as two separate mixers but with some linking features.
