matter of powering up the d8b

Hi guys I´m new here at the d8b forum.

So My be desk has a issue about powering up, and i need some advise what to do.

Here goes:

Its hard to power up in this way:
When i push the power-button, the led above "MAIN" button starts to blink/flash
But if I disconnect the big electrical contact, turn on the cpu unit and again connect the contact, its usually starts again.
The desk is working but it is somehow annoying of course

So what can I do ? Is it hard to fix ? Can I do it myself ?
