Now this is just wierd!

I have yellow splotches appearing over my EQ buttons on my monitor screen when I turn the EQ on, and they go away when the EQ is turned off. Also the red bars in the digital trim and level-to-tape are gone, the "D" and "T" are there but the bars are gone. When switching between digital trim and level-to-tape, the same yellow splotch appears over the level-to-tape button graphic but doesn't appear over the digital trim button graphic. The EQ, digital trim and level-to-tape still work properly and the +/- numerical values show up as they should, but the dark empty boxes and splotches are really annoying. I've tried swapping out video cards, resetting bios, and re-seating the data and power cables. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Or better yet, how might I correct it?

I'm just spitballing here...but have you tried re-installing the software?

Thanks for the suggestion Frank. I haven't tried that yet so I'll give that a go and see what develops.

Just re-installed the OS and she's no more an ugly duckling. Thanks again Frank for the tip, it turned out to be the perfect pitch.
