Prefader and Post fader metering

Are you doing this pre or post fader mode?

So what's the post-fader setting for?

I am doing this pre fader mode (it is still reflecting signal post dsp). In post, the meter follows the fader move. It is a preference thing but if you clip this console, you'll hear it. I wouldn't be overly worried about it.
