Glad it worked, John!

Peter

Unfortunately I only discovered this forum when I signed up - so a newbie, no joke. I signed up around the time I purchased my own d8b - otherwise I've worked with one back in 2002 or so and thought it was a great little thing. That's why I got one at the price I've found it at. I'm into electronics since the early '80s and an IT guy in my dayjob, so this kind of mix of electronics, computers and music takes all of my professional and hobbyist attention. Maybe that's why... And of course it was noone else's business when I decided to turn my own d8b belly up for the first time to fiddle with it for real - have not reinstalled the bottom cover since. :) I shall be posting soon (in a couple of weeks, maybe?) some more information on installing EMI filters on the A/D converter's power rail which hopefullly will help me to bring the noise level down to the datasheet figures.

Thanks for the compliment, though! Glad to be of some help.
