All Good crash...ran the system for 5 hours straight tonight with no issues. I will boot and reboot the system a few time this weekend but I think gluing down the connectors solved the problem.

Hi,

I have a d8b i bought new with V2! an oldie...so i greatly appreciate this kind of skillful follow thru shown thru this post. I was so happy to get to the end and the "hero gets the girl !"

I just want to say, that unless ive been leading an internet sheltered life, this is the best support i have ever seen for a hardware piece of gear! I mean it.
And being the complexity and age and size of user base that this hardware has, whoever is responsible for this collection of info and the great 1 on one SKILLED interaction..there should be some sort of nobel prize for devotion, generosity and an empathy for one's fellow man. Again im not kiddin.

Good Lord Guido... Version 2???? Tell me you have upgraded to Version 3 by now, it is free after all.

There is quite a few collective years represented here on this forum with lots of under the hood time and about every oddity you can experience with a d8b, has been. Thanks for the the kudos to the d8b community. Petersueco was kind enough to create this little d8b shangri la after the Mackie forum jumped the shark with one of their upgrades to their forum some years ago. I still visit both here and there but find most of us old timers hang here these days. Enjoy your stay.

Hey Guido, I'm glad you got the board up and running.

To be honest, the Database info was originally gathered by Anyhorizon, Dan Worley, SteveT, Mike Rivers, John Reynolds and others, so the credit has to go to them. I just reformatted the thing and added some more info to it.

It's still a work in progress, as new users come up with valuable info, it gets added to it.

As you probably already know, Crash is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable guys over here. Thanks for your constant support, Crash.
