I tried my old v5.1 floppy's to re-install 5.1 and they no longer work for some reason, I boot up with the first disk in and the D8b boots as normal. I have tried the 5.1 download link and there's a blank page, can anyone help with this

Something strange going on here. I'm loading in a fresh v5.1, I'm booting up with disk 1 inserted, the d8b boots up as normal and a message in the bootup screen appears..something like "Remove disc to complete boot", it's a long time since I loaded v5.1 but as far as I remember the disk status appeared on the LED screen and prompted disk 2 & 3?
The OS is not loading from disk?

Hi Phil,
There is a guy on Ebay selling flash card conversion kits for the D8B with your choice of OS pre-installed.
I bought one cause my 5.1 floppies seem to be corrupt. Price was $59. It should come in by Friday. I will let you know how it works out. Just thought this might be an option for you.
Have a blessed day in Christ,
Mike W.

Thanks Mike, the v5.1 that I tried to load in was with new floppy's, they are not recognised for some reason?
How does the flash card work?

Hi Phil,
PRAISE JESUS! The flash card works great as advertised & the Hack does too! I've got FIVE POINT ONE running on my D8B! I hooked up the flash card to my computer via a USB flash card reader that was conveniently provided in the kit & replaced the ASC file with the hacked one(after making a copy of the original). Installation of the flash adapter was a snap once I realized that the ribbon cable wasn't too short (it was doubled up on itself in the retaining clip). Took literally 5 minutes! While I had the flash card hooked up to my computer I also dragged all my session files from my version 3 hard drive into the folder on the flash card marked "session 5" and they come up and work! Hallelujah, praise the LORD!!!!!!
Have a blessed day in Christ!,
Mike W.

As mentioned in my previous posts, I am booting up with new 5.1 floppy's and the bootup loads as normal but gives a message to remove the floppy in the drive...would this be because v5.1 is already loaded or should the floppy over ride this and re-load it again from scratch?

Hi Phil,
One would think that it would ask you to insert disk 2, the floppy should override everything else.
Have a blessed day in Christ,
