Slight Clicking in Channels 1 and 2 while playing synths

Good Morning,
I tried to do a little searching through the board here, and couldn't find what I was looking for. I finally got my rig set up where I can record to an HDR 24/96, but as I was working to record on channels 1 and 2, you can hear a clicking noise. It is ever so slight, but definitely noticeable. No specific pattern, it just seems to happen when you really hit a staccato note on the piano. It isn't clipping, so I know it isn't that. I moved the synths to channels 9 and 10 to see if it was the first set of 8, and it went away. I also tried a different synth to see if it was my KX88, but it did the same thing.
Any one run in to something like this. Is it a try to re-seat the cables, or maybe something that may be specific to the first 8 channels that I shouldn't use for a synth?
I am recording to an HDR 24/96 through OPT-8 cards.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Ken
