Just a query, a few months ago I changed my email address and lost my password, I couldn't login and I couldn't request another password because of my new email address. I sent three emails to Admin, Peter's email, I had no reply, so I tried to create a new account only to get a message "Email address not valid"???

Luckily, I found my password and everything is now ok, but if I hadn't, there would be no way for me to get back onto the forum!

PS...not finished yet as I have just tried to update my email address which is now BT and I get this The e-mail address you entered is not allowed to be used.????????

Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the forum. To be honest I have not check my email spam folder. As you can imagine I receive A LOT of spam and I'm pretty sure your messages have fallen in to it.

On the other side I wasn't aware the forum software was rejecting some specific e-mail addresses and I can't understand why this is so. The only thing I can think of is that you are using an e-mail that have been banned manually by me previously, but I don't believe that is the case.

What is your new e-mail address that is being rejected??

I do check the forum every three or four days just to make sure it is working and it is in good shape.

I have had the temptation to upgrade the forum software several times in the past but I always end up deciding not to do it. You know, if it's working don't fix it, right?

I'm glad that you are still keeping an interest in this forum as, as far as I know it's the only one dedicated to the d8b and HDR, there are members here, you and I included that bought the gear when it first came out and the knowledge is un surpassed and readily available for those new to the desk etc.

I have emailed you with my new email address, perhaps you can do a check as to why it's not being recognised.
