Hello forum. New guy here. Great to see all you people out there getting good use from the trusty D8B. :)

I am parting out my D8B and someone has offered to purchase the hard drive with OS 5.1 installed on it. I assume he does not have OS 5.1 at all or else he could just buy and new drive and install the OS, so my question is to you experts is...what is a fair price to sell this drive and the floppy's with key codes for? I am certainly not wanting to soak anyone, just do what's fair for both parties, and admittedly have no idea what this is worth. He's offering $25, but that seems low.

But what do I know? :?

Thanks for your help, fellows.

Chris

You are going to need to sell the brain board associated with this drive for this to work. Otherwise, whoever buys the drive will have to call Mackie to get unlock codes. The ESN that is tied to software is on the brain board. I assume Mackie still charges for the 5.1 OS.
