Easiest way to mix HDR tracks back to HDR..?

I have about a dozen channels recorded to my Mackie HDR. I basically want to mix what I'm hearing out of my monitors - including the d8b effects returns, to a stereo pair of tracks on the HDR. I know i should RTFM but if there are a couple of easy key presses and I'm mixing and someone wouldn't mind chipping in who does this all the time that would be most gratefully appreciated.
Or I will just RTFM.
I might just go ahead and RTFM now...

I think version 5 has an option to send the master bus to the bus section. I maybe wrong I'm still sporting V3 at the moment. But I've used 5 on other machines and I think this is possible. Once that is done just route the bus to the tracks on the HDR.
what is RTFM?

Hey Guys,
I have tried to locate a v5 manual in the mackie web site but only shows v3.
I am curious if there is a shortcut to assign the master l/r mix buss to a pair of busses. Normally I deselect the l/r on every channel and assign them to a pair of busses, and then send them out for outboard processing, but its easy to miss something while scrolling through the three banks. If there is somewhere I can find the manual I can read through it and see what else I have been missing.

Thanks Peter, had a good look but couldn't find any shortcuts to send the l/r mix to a pair of busses without having to deselect all tracks from the L/r and assigning them to a set of busses. Still looking, but if you know the answer I would be most appreciated!
Where did you end up living after all???
