When you say "nothing lights up", does this also mean that the CPU power supply light (on the switch) does not show a light when turned on? if this is the case, then you have no mains power getting to the power supply.

Can you state if anything lights up anywhere on the desk at any time.

Have you tried re-seating the big plug as this carries (among other things) the voltages to the desk?

Have you turned the desk over and re-seated all the internal cables and connectors --- often a cause of many problems?

Not necessarily connected to your initial problem, but if the desk has been sitting idle for some time, when you ultimately get the desk running, it could pay to change the Bios battery and re-set the Bios settings (be sure to use the correct settings --- look up the data base for info).

Hope the above helps a bit.

Thanks, the desk comes on, all my old presets come up. the fader move, everything. The lights come on. I can change the EQ, I can see all the settings. But when I plug in any audio (guitar, mp3 player, etc) i get no signal on the meters and no audio. It is almost like if no audio is reaching. The desk is in almost perfect condition , very clean so it is hard to believe something is damaged.

I will re set the cables etc, but as I said everything else is working even the talk back. i cant test the digital inputs yet. I also didnt connect the monitor yet.

Help appreciated.

If it's in pristine condition, then it's either the power section governing the Analog I/O, OR something as simple as (crosses fingers) a simple setting or button depressed. As silly as it sounds, I can't tell you the number of times I've done that with a Mixer over the years. Pull it out, plug it in, and "Sh*t..." no audio.....then the search begins for the magic button that isn't properly pressed or depressed. I hope thats all it is... ;)
