Static Noise sometimes !

Hey.

Sometimes, when i boot my D8B and its fully booted, the meterbridge indicated a short peak (hearable through the speakers)
I can live with that.

But sometimes after that there is some static noise on some channels, so that i have to reboot the console for about 2-3 times. After that, everything works fine.

The static noise is not coming from any gear connected..
it even happens when nothing is connected to the D8B :(

That same thing happens to mine too from time to time. I think it's just the nature of the beast :)

Have you tried mutting all the channels on all the banks to tried to eliminate that noise?

Yep it still makes noise.. and whats so strange is its only on the right channel of the outputs...ALL of the outputs (master/ CR/ Nearfield)nothing is plugged into the inputs at all its driving me crazy. Also i'm getting a bunch of lights staying on(main/near field button all the lights on the volume vpod are on. The mute button light on track 24) do you think that this may be the direct issue if so how can it be corrected

All I can say is do the standard ribbon reseat etc, at least you know whether this fixes it or not.
