MOTU 24 I/O & D8B Cue Mix Monitoring
Posted: Wed Apr 11, 2012 8:42 pmI am racking my brain trying to figure out how to monitor my ProTools Master L/R mix with the d8b, as well as have the option to monitor my multichannel Cue/Headphone mix inside the d8b.
Here's the problem... If I use 2track A for the ProTools master input, when I select the 2track A button, I get a "doubled" phasey sounding effect in the cue mix. When the d8b master button is unselected, and 2track A button selected, the mix going to the cans is the ProTools master L/R mix. When the d8b master button is selected and 2track A unselected, the cue mix is fine.
How can I setup the d8b to separate these 2 monitor inputs?
I want to be able to use the d8b monitor section as if it were a Mackie Big Knob.
If anyone can help me think this through, I would appreciate it.
