Ok so when I start my cpu on the mackie sometimes it starts up and runs fine, then sometimes it wont start and says "system error 43 host did not boot" on the d8b console (The VGA screen does not turn on too see any error msg) I replaced the BIOS battery? not sure thats the right word but its in the cpu "2032" as a simple $1.99 solution but didnt work. I've noticed that when it is running the screen will start acting funny with lines and the popdown menus aka file,edit etc are transparent and not solid like they should be. the d8b is up and working right now after 30 min of trying to get the host to boot by tuning it on and off untill it finally pulls the vga screen up and works.
Any answers to this problem would really help not only me, but I'm sure many others out there!!!

Check your monitor connection and clean and re-seat it's card.

Is the bios set correctly?

Hey thanks for the reply... I'll try cleaning and reseating the card, I set the bios to the specs I pulled up online for the Mackie D8B 300 Motherboard BIOS Settings as I will post below, the connection between the monitor is fine it will pull up the screen after I reboot the computer like 10 time and run fine, without messing with any wires.

It might be benificial if you re-load the OS.

So I re-seated all the cards in the cpu today and so far it actually runs 10 times better, the graphics are actually clearer... at first I thought its an old version 3.0 so its that way, well was I wrong.
Something so simple it amazes me sometimes, Had me freaking out that something was about to fry!!! well lets keep our fingers crossed.
I shall post back if problem returns for another round at this.
