Hi everyone
this just started yesterday
boot the d8b and it will work for about five minuts
then all the lights go out. the red rud solo lite stays on
now in the gur I can move things and everything works from there
but no kind of movement from the board just from the gur on the monitor
could this be a bad power supply. thanks for any help.

thanks crash for the fast reply
I did look at that post before I posted and the reason I did not
think that was my problem was because the d8b would boot up and run
and everything worked. then the lights woulf go out and nothing worked from the
board only from the monitor would things work. so I will take you advice
and tear her down tonight and see if thats my problem. shure hope thats all it is.
thanks again crash.
thats sad or should I say funny I have not been on the forum for a while and just as soon as I
get back on here my d8b started giving me troubles

and lowe's don't sell that kind. home depo is about 50 miles from
where I stay are there anything els'e that I could use without messing
up the d8b. I would like to try something to keep it from getting loose all the time

Hey Joe, any silicone based caulk should work for helping hold down the ribbon cables. You don't need a truck load of the stuff either. Just a dab on the corners is all you need.

going to get some now. I was thinking it had to be plastic adhesive
so it would not eat into the ribbon cables. or mess something els'e up.

after letting the adhesive dry 4 hours
I rebooted the d8b 6 times without any problems
that must have been my problem crash. thats funny because I just
did the ribbon thing about two weeks ago.
anyway thanks for your help crash.
