Peter,
I have an MDR 24/96 that I use for remote recordings. It works/records great, but.....someone, who no longer works here, lost the key to the removable hard drive which now renders it useless. That drive is a most important component for what I use the MDR for. Right now the drive is in an unlocked position, so it doesn't appear in the menu, and thus can't backup. I'm looking for a manufacturer of the removable unit in hopes of getting a replacement key, or, if you know of a work around, I'm in. Thanks,

Nick.

I'm not able to help you. You will have better luck if you ask this in the HDR/MDR/SDR recorders forum.

Peter.
