Hi All,
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the HDR to boot in dos mode?

Have a blessed day,

actually, if you have workable floppies, you can get dos floppy images from various sites.
Here again my floppy emulator is fantastic :)
But actually I tend to just write bootable iso images to my cf card instead.

Hi Mike

how are you and the family doing? do you still have your d8b and are you using it. or do you have another system your using? if you have another set up do you mind telling me what it is. you can PM me if you like. I would just like to know what you went with. thanks, Mike.

Hi Joe,
The family is doing fine. Hope you are well. As for my system, I still can't find anything out there for a mid-level
studio. Where is the functionality to record 5 musicians simultaneously and give them all separate monitor mixes? Tape ins and outs. There is nothing under 50 grand that does everything the D8B can do. So, I record with the D8B and HDR and do a little pitch correction and limiting in my DAW and back to D8B HDR for final mix.

Have A blessed day in Christ,
Mike W.

thanks, Mike

you and your family are some of the nicest people I have ever met.
hope to get back up there one day when you're not so busy. for some reason, I was thinking you went with another system. I'm glad you're still with the d8b-HDR. you are right there is nothing out there that I know of that
is as good as the d8b for the price.

Hey Joe,
All I have been using as a daw is wavelab and melodyne. Just a little pitch correction and then 1176 type limiting with wavelab.

Have a blessed day in Christ,
Mike
