HDR won't power up

Hey , I'm going to try here first , then skip over to the old forum. My HDR won't power up and I've got a group coming over tonight to record. Help ,if anyone can... help!

Well..... I went upstairs , cried to my wife about my breakdown , waited for her optimistic reply to help me reconsider my planned suicide , returned to the studio for a repeated frustration beating on the HDR , ( due to the lack of an electronics degree ) and decided to try holding in on the power button once again , ( for about 10 seconds this time ) and ............ it's on.


So , there you have it. Added to the archives for future knowledge in fixing the HDR. Hope I don't need to come back to this thread tomorrow !!
