Mac! This is exciting news. One question please. Will the D8Bridge require installing Mackie 5.1 d8b software in order to use the Bridge?

Thanks so much.

So let me ask this: How, exactly is this Dell Hackintosh hooked up to the D8B?

Still waiting for an answer on this.

Sorry, I missed that one! :) The D8B is hooked up exactly like the PC version, using a USB/Serial converter cable. Now that that D8Bridge version 1.1 is just around the corner, I'll have some more time for the Mac version.

Ah man, that is fantastic news! While we do run Macs and PC's in our studios, where we REALLY need this puppy is with Nuendo in post prod. And after a lot of agony, Post really is just happier on a Mac. So to put it mildly, am VERY happy about a Mac offering.

Good lord, do you have any idea how much of these babies you'll sell if you have d8Bridge for Mac and Pro Tools running? There's nothing, nothing else out there in that price range!

Well done again! :D
