D8Bridge stopped working after update to W8.1

Well i tried but no luck. I'll try and delete the config when I get home. I'll report back!

Also, if you're using a USB-to-serial converter instead of a serial port, make sure it is guaranteed by the manufacturer to be compatible with Win 8.1. I recall having some initial COM problems with Win 7 because the OS didn't recognize the converter. I replaced my original USB-to-serial converter with the one in my signature block and my COM problem went away.

Yeah i think that might be the problem. I searched for drivers online for my cable. And i found some that said "support w8.1", see here: http://www.prolific.com.tw/US/ShowProdu ... 25&pcid=41

I installed that 3 times, no luck. Same with deleting the config file. That didn't work

Yeah. Let's just hope that d8bridge 2 get released summer 2014 and cost as much as the first one.
