probox Firmware (UPDATE V2.02.05)

Postby munkustrap » Tue Dec 16, 2014 8:50 am

Hi probox users

in a few days a Firmware update will be released. YES ist with HUI !!!

Version will be 2.01.0x

I will email you all a link where you can download the whole stuff that you Need to update your prox.
The update itself will take 5 seconds. Preparing everything is about 5 minutes (including reading the update Manual)

changes:
- HUI implemented
- Nearfield/Main Speaker swap fixed
- Fader/off Button (no fader send/receive commands)
- Meterbridge off button (maybe helpfull if try to use the Audio)
- Fader Filter Implemented (due to bad Hardware design of the d8b the faders will slightly move +/- 1 value. For me that doesn't matter but If you want to get rid of that you can use the faderfilter. But the fader will react less smooth the higher you use the faderfilter)
- Baudrate is selectable (normal or boost) This is if you want to use an unhacked probox d8b Firmware that will also communicate with the d8b CPU
- Emulation Modes for Logic/mackie (1MCU2XT_1, 1MCU2XT_2,3XT) if you want to use two d8b with two proboxes
- now the nearfield/main Speakers can be muted by pressing the selected Speaker button again (button led will flash then)
- Logic Meterbridge fix (the OL was at -0,6dB) now its corrected.
- longer heartbeat timeout set, as two users had the "cool" las vegas effect. This is fixed.

When you said a few days I thought that meant a few days...

It's been a Month...

I'm not trying to be a Jerk.....It just seems like you are busy with other things these days instead of your ProBox...

Best Regards

Hi Mixingmusic and all others

for sure the development is not dead.
So there are some simple reasons for the delay.

My protools 30days Trial run out before I could finish the Firmware. I got a solution yesterday, but I've to try it out. Additional I was busy in the Studio and I have to do a Business trip this week, so in that case no Progress the next week.

BUT:
on the new beta Firmware the whole Logic/Mackie Stuff is working so the beta can be used for all DAWs execpt Protools.
On HUI there are Problems with the MTC Display and the refresh of the Display when changing between Projects.
