There's plenty of floppies available on ebay.

Hi maxcz,
Is it possible to send me the dll File too? Would be very kind. Then I can try my luck on it.
Thx

That DLL file may not be the key to the problem (no pun intended).

I tossed the EXE file from the root directory into a disassembler yesterday and found that it's loading the name of the rs422 directory and then the name of the key file, so the code check may well be in the EXE file instead.

yes - at a certain price. Plus transportation.
But the emulator I bought wasn't all that much more expensive, and it is much more future-proof :-)
And faster.... :D

Hi all,
Did anyone ever try changing the value of the time that 5.1 will run in demo mode? Someone mentioned it on here or maybe it was another forum. If we could get even 4 hours of runtime before reboot, it would be useable.

Hello All,

I wanted to reach out to Macxz to see if he would still be willing to create a chip for a new d8b owner. Once of the features that I would really like to take advantage of is the HUI to use with Pro Tools.

Hoping that Maxcz still visits the site.

Best Regards,

Ken

Here is another curve ball idea coming in
just thought.......
rather trying to crack the Auth code can we go the otherway and somehow change the S/N or tell the d8b its another S/N so then all we would need is anyones s/n number with a working 5.1 auth code ??
The software must find the S/N, so where is this stored ?
