MFX Software Loads, but effects do not work

I'm sorry you're having this grief but as a last ditch effort, I'd save whatever you have in terms of sessions etc. to some external media and re-install the OS. Worth a try. Don't forget the 16 bit patch for OS 3.

i have the same problem, there is a thred on here somewhere about it,
effects will load up and will show an input on the bar meters in the effecct.
but no output from the effect,
so i sent the card to a friend who has a d8b and it was the same on his.
so in case you cant send it back there is a use for it...
it makes a great floor tile adhesive spreader, did my whole kitchen floor with it,
im so impressed i have kept it for future use

This isn't going to help anyone but I have a couple bad MFX cards -- I don't know why they fail. I need to take some inventory of known good pieces and bring some of this stuff to market since my new home is "d8b not hooked up now" -- honestly I have gone so simple and I do not like it near as much as my old setup -

I do have some chipped tile in the kitchen but I am not ready to do that job yet... but I have the tools apparently!
