Loud channel problem

Postby albridi » Fri May 22, 2015 4:10 pm

Hi there!

Last month one of my nearfields has died. Everytime I'd attempted to power it up, mains was disconnected (a short circuit). I had to sent it to tech service, and now is up and running again. Due to this, I decided to re-measure my room with IK ARC 2 (the correction soft).

But now I'm having a random issue: Sometimes (not always) when I send test tones to the nearfields, there is a sudden loud level in the right channel, precisely the channel of the monitor that had to be repaired, and now my suspicions are focused on my d8b.

Could my mixer been sending a louder volume from monitor outs randomly :| ?

Anyone with an issue like this?

Kind regards.

In the scheme of things, there isn't one... just chaos.

Thanks Peter, I checked the link :D !

It could be, but I wonder... Could the pot raise the level without changing the position displayed, and only in one channel :| ?

Regards.
