making my d8b master

Postby micha » Tue Aug 18, 2015 4:18 am

hello all.....
i currently am runnning a mackie analog mixer to a mdr, have been using this set up for quite awhile. i am introducing a d8b and hdr combo into my set up. i am trying to get maximum track count. if i use my d8b as master using the hdr as slave then with a bnc t connector to my mdr will that allow me to utilize the 24 tracks of the hdr and 24 tracks of the mdr in sync for a total of 48 tracks? getting ready to set it up just want some feedback if i am on the right "track".......no pun intended

tnx to all.

I remember doing this with 2 HDRs. I think I used the 1/4" jack from one machine to the other as well as the ethernet connection. I don't recall using the BNC connections. There is a section in the manual that covers this called "pre flight check" or something along those lines. It was pretty easy, make the connections and set one machine to chase the other and you are off to the races.

Go here:

The pre flight link is in there too.
