Mackie D8b OS 5.1 download for pc

I have all the codes to upgrade my D8B to 5.1. I downloaded the zip file which contains the 5.1 files for 3 disk. Using a USB floppy and Windows 7 I started to copy the files to floppy but disk 2 is larger than 1.44M. How can the files be copied to 1.44M disk? Am I missing something simple?

There's a routine for extraction of the files for floppy disc. I don't know what it is for Windows but I'm sure Crash knows.

I think the last time I did that, which was way long ago.... I just followed the software upgrade instructions on page 19 of the 5.1 d8b manual. You need Winzip or winimage self extraction utility and all that jazz...if that still exists.

Thanks for the information! I had the owners manual for ver 3 and it has no detailed instructions for placing the files onto floppy. The 5.1 manual details exactly how to do it. Thanks!
