Are you sure IRQ 10 is set correctly for your processor speed board? They're different.

still having the non responsive transport controls both on the console and on the monitor screen view. i removed the midi card and adapter from the d8b cpu unit and took it to a computer repair shop. i have included athe invoice with the results of the test. not sure where to go from here? as i stated before my midi break out cables are working properly as well as the midi cables i purchased for use with the d8b. i tested the breakout cables by running the hdr as master and my mdr as slave. they worked properly. so i am back to square one, not knowing what else to do. i really dont want to shell out the money for a new midi card and still have the transport controls be non responsive. i have already invested quite a bit of money in the last month.

i notice on the hdr screen display in the midi setup menu that there is a box to check off whether or not to send MMC to another unit. since the d8b 5.1 os upgrade there is no MMC box in the midi setup menu? does the lack of a checkbox to send MMC out mean that it is a default setting on the d8b?

ok......now as i have it configured, the d8b as master and hdr as slave, the d8b (play record ff rewind) buttons light up but do not respond. but when i use the transport function on the hdr (rewind ff stop play record) the d8b tranport functions as well as the numerical counter??? what gives?? my midi connections are correct my word clock connections are correct.

Seriously, mate we'd like to help you but your photos are unreadable and your descriptions are vague. You didn't answer my previous question regarding IRQ 10 in the BIOS.

yes IRQ is set correctly in bios, as i stated in previous post i went thru bios line upon line to make sure settings were set correctly. as for being vague???....... i have described exactly whats going on not sure why there is still a question of being vague. i have gone back through my posts and i do not have any trouble with my pics. they look fine to me. the invoice pic i sent, all it needed is to be enlarged as most phones and computers can do that function.....???

Did you obtain the d8b and hDr separately?

Do/did either devices already have recorded projects?

Have you created a new session prior to d8b shutdown?
