Probox and Automation

How are you guys doing automation in a DAW with the Probox since the d8b doesn't have touch sensitive faders? Or are you guys just using it as a big mouse? Thanks for any insight you can give me!

Hi
I'm the developer of the probox. Maybe I can bring some light into the tunnel.
The Probox emulates a Fader-Touch. Once you start to move the fader, a Fader Touch start is sent before the fader values are sent. If you stop the fader movement the probox waits for about 100ms if another fader movement on this fader happens. If not, then it sends the fader touch off Signal.
if you move the fader after the 100ms, the fader touch start is send again.

So in Automation the probox for sure will not send a touch when you touch the fader (as you mentioned it is not possible).
It is send when you move the fader.

Best regards
