24 channel adat card ?

noticed on eBay a single 24 chan adat card for the HDR,

I have never seen one of these before, so this would free up 2 spaces so could you add another card ? If so how would this work if you added 2 analogue cards would you then be able to record opticly or analog to the same channel ?

The OPT-24 card is a pci card, so it actually frees up all 3 i/o card slots.
The outputs are "always on", but if you have other cards installed in the slots, you can choose which one to record from.
