Thanks mike I check the bios last night and they are the same way you set them nothing change by my bios sheet I think if it was the battery the bios would keep getting off. I remember mike even when the bios was wrong at ur studio there was still some light on your board remember we looked at e solo light and there was the light that shows all the eq setting it has some light But my board only light is the solo light. After seeing and hearing what your d8b sounds like I miss my d8b even more know. Thanks for any suggestions. Joe allen

Hi

I think that your EPROM is damaged or that your brain board has some defects talking withe the EPROM.
At least one broken Address line is enough to loose functionality.

Do you get any text on the console Screen (43 Error, or sopmething else) or is it only the res Solo rude led that lits up)

I have never encountered such a group of kind, knowledgeable folks. With that said, I need another donation of help.
I have a D8B version 5
I have an Alesis HD24XR
They are connected by optical cables.
I have an outboard harmonizer receiving it's signal from the bus 1 output under channel 1
The returning signal from the HD24 track 1 is a dry vocal
The bus out is properly routed to the harmonizer
The harmonizer out delivers signal to input channel 5
I can hear the harmonized signal on this channel
For some reason, I can't get a signal to show up on the track 5 meter of the HD24 so as to record a wet track of the vocal
My number is 561 662 8128
Eddie
I appreciate any advice

Hi,
Please forgive me for asking this question, but I feel as though I must start at the beginning. Did you assign track 5 to tape out 5?

Have a blessed day in Christ,
