I will replace the original switched 5v psu with Mean Well RS 150-5.

Did you check it's output before you change it?

I only have a multimeter so i can't see that much. I can't see the voltage and current under max load. I've got it new for 20$. If it doesn't help there is just one thing left to replace. The 120v transformer hasn't anything to do about my problem. One thing is for sure I've learned a lot about the d8b on the way. Now I know that it isn't that hard to replace motherboard to a completely different and make it work, and the fader problems people often have is sometimes bad filtering in the psu... and more. 0ne of my faderbanks broke down after trying the bad psu on a fully working console.

A multimeter should let you see 5v's?

I re connected the old one and it's going up and down from 0-3V so now I really know what's wrong.
I'm still waiting for my new one. It's not so strange the console is behaving crazy.
