The below was posted by munkustrap last year. In the control.asc file you open up with a text editor and look for the two numbers immediately proceeding an "AZ". In the example below, there are 12 instances. Your ESN # is 12 digits. You need to look up in Google the following term to get a conversion table, "ASCII to HEX Conversion Table". Match your ESN # to the corresponding ASCII Hex conversion, and replace each reference in the control.asc file. Once you have done this, and inserted the file to its proper place on the hard drive, the boot process will see your actual ESN# and you should be good with any plugins you already have. if you do not have authorization codes of your own for the plugins, then you have to use the ESN and matching auth codes that were posted on dropbox.
I will let you know how it goes. I do not have time this weekend so maybe the following weekend I will give it a go.

hack your own ESN into the control.asc
search in the control.asc (the hacked one) the following lines:
ZZZ40030AZ1D5EEFZ40030AZ1D5F7FZ40030AZ1D5F7FZ40030
AZ1D5F7FZ806AC0Z1D8F5FZZZ40030AZ1D5F7FZ40031AZ1D5F7FZ40045AZ1D5F7FZ40036
AZ1D5F7FZ806AB0Z1D8F5FZZZ40035AZ1D5F7FZ40032AZ1D5F7FZ40038AZ1D5F7FZ40038AZ
exchange the bold numbers with the ASCII hex of your ESN that you want to program
in this case 0000 01E6 5288
30 = "0"
31 = "1"
45 = "E"munkustrap
