Glad it wasn't me causing the problem :)

Run as administrator works good, I wonder why though?

So, if the OS has to be re loaded with the three files, do they go in Partition 1?

You mean to reinstall the OS?

Not necessarily. At boot time, you have a little time to change which partition the drive uses, before the computer starts reading the drive.

Has your emulated FD worked Phil? If yes can you please give us some guidance/ points so that we can order one and make it work instead of the original Floppy drive?

Thanks

Carlo

I bought this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/FAT32-Floppy-D ... B008HYVFIW The original drive is easy to swap but the side brackets holding the HD and floppy drive need to be removed so the side screws of the floppy drive can be removed, there's four nuts holding the side brackets, they're a bit hard to get to but either a socket with an extention or long nose pliers would work.

The sticks I have used are nothing special, the one 515mb and the other 16gb, you just need to download the Floppy program to your PC, arjepsen has kindly supplied a link on this thread.
