Power distribution board ribbon cables

Hi

Has anyone ever contemplated to solder the power ribbon cables of the distribution board to all the areas Like mobo, card cage, DSP etc?

The only time when my d8b fails is due to the tiny movements happening in the power ribbon cables sockets from the dist board to the card cage or to the DSP card. This happens circa every 2 to 3 months. For me its a downtime that its getting on my nerves now. Have you every considered any solution?

On the side of the connectors there's usually silver pieces, if you push these in with a small screwdriver, it tightens the connector.
