Great looking booth's and Drum Room. Any chance you can give us a sample of how they sound?

Sure Bruce, I'll try to link a track tomorrow.

Yes Crash, I am 6 feet so no major issues ...but seriously, I only use the d8b more as a pass-thru for tracking, most of my work is done within my Mackie MIDI Controllers and my DAW env. these days.

Y-my-R, like the tight control setup...amazing how you have everything on your desk !

Hi All,
Bruce wanted a sample of work done in my studio, I don't know about the soundcloud thing as this song doesn't belong to me, so here is a download link https://we.tl/t-HOcbexw2vt Let me know what you think.

Have a blessed day,
Mike

sounds great Mike...reminds me a bit of a modern day Amy Grant. All the instruments sound crystal clear... in their sweet spot.

Hey Mike;

As the Casptain said very clean.

The drums sound great! Very nice sounding room!

The girl singing has a great voice and feel for the song. The Bass guitar player is amazing and it sounds great in the mix. Very present. Love the vibe of the song.

Thanks for letting us listen.

There is a studio in Europe somwhere that is said to be the best sounding drum room. A lot of drum samples are recorded there. Getting the right aubience is so crtical to a good drum and string sound!

Hi Guys,
Thanks Captain and Bruce for the kind words. But my wife (the singer) informs me that I pulled the wrong file, the vocal is the scratch that was done when the recording was made because she's singing the wrong words. I wanted an original song to post, so I pulled this one from my files cause I know the author and got the wrong one. Anyway, you're so right about the space being important. I also find it's almost impossible to get a good tom sound without properly tuned top and bottom heads. I'm not a drummer, but I learned the hard way how to tune those heads.

Have a blessed day,
Mike
