Just noticed a thread on another Forum https://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/3116821/rip-mike-rivers.

I for one will miss him.

This is very sad news, I only recently became aware of Mike and his sterling work, but he was obviously very well thought of.

Damn... this is sad news. Mike was a super smart dude and did a lot of work with Mackie in the day. I am sad to hear this. RIP Mr. Rivers.

Wow... this is really tragic... just from the human side of things. I don't personally know Mike, but he was a helluva individual and a really intelligent, well spoken guy. I have his HDR book (good read) and participated in some discussion threads that included him, and I always appreciated his no-nonsense approach to things... my heart goes out to the guys family n friends, it's a sad day for all of us here, too... his presence will be missed...

Namaste

R.I.P. Mike Rivers

Like the rest of you I am very sad to hear of Mike's passing.

I had been working with him, just a few months ago it seems, on getting his d8b up and running.

I will miss him very much. Such a brilliant, funny man.

RIP Mike!

Bruce
