if you are to buy either one of those interfaces all they do is transfer the digital signal from the d8b to the DAW. I would go with 9652 it will be faster than the firewire unit and plus it's RME so its reliability is unquestionable in my opinion.

The d8b is essentially your analog to digital converter. I suggest downloading the manual and reading through it to understand how the hook up of mics and such relate to what your wanting to do.

It's simple : I just would to know if all the connectic of the d8b are available with Cubase ? by the way of the RME? without an other material : Only d8b, ADAT Cards, RME, PC ?

Well, d8b can handle 24 adat ins and outs in the tape slots plus 8 adat ins and outs in the alt I/O slot and RME can handle, you tell me? Geez, un, deux, trois....

You have a certain attitude about you, man. Borrow one and see or buy one with a return policy.

RME is king.
