Now this is not really an issue but I think this is the reason the MIDI mapped fader does not update in real time if I switch to HUI and make a volume change
That would mean that the d8b could translate both HUI and a map at the same time. If you switch to HUI isn't the placement of the fader now confined to the masters bank? The mapped fader is no longer receiving the midi info from logic. Plus, I'm not sure how logic handles multiple devices but maybe the d8b isn't meant to be switched back and fourth between the HUI and a midi map. Or am I talking out of my ass?
Now I have had issues to where if I load the d8b session with midi maps before I load the cubase session the faders don't talk until I grab them one at a time to "wake" them up.
Maybe Mackie decided that one or the other was enough for the workflow at the time. But now with more advanced DAWs this is really showing the limitations of the software.
But you are still having trouble moving a fader in logic and having the d8b fader respond. That might be a logic issue and like I said I'm kinda useless when it comes to that software. Maybe some screenshots of the midi window in logic could help.
