UFX Unlock code prefixes

Postby Dan Worley » Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:52 am

I just found a sheet with unlock codes for all the UFX plugins. Mackie had given them to me after I wrote Frolicking Faders, so that was pretty cool of them.

I wrote down what all the prefixes stood for, except for one, and that is PAL. Do any of you guys know which plugin or what that is for?

Also, have all the codes for the d8b and UFX been broken by now? I haven't kept up on any of this stuff.

Thanks!

c-ya,

Dan

Dan,

Give me a day and I might be able to help.

Many years ago Steve Tillman gave me a list of all of the effects codes. I have it filed away somewhere and will look it up and post it --- not sure if they are what you want but will post.

Thanks, David. I just need to know what PAL stands for. These are the prefixes I have:

TP is Acuma Time Lab
TC is TC Level 1 Reverb
SF is Acuma Saturated Fat
RT is Acuma RTA-31
MS is Massenburg Stereo EQ
MM is Massendburg Mono EQ
MD is Mackie Mono Delay
FM is AcumaFilter machine (not Final Mix)
FIMX is Acuma Final Mix (that's what the sheet says, but it's possible it might be FMIX)
DSR is Acuma DSR1 De-Esser
DF is Acuma Delay Factor
DDM is Drawmer ADX100 Mono
DD is Drawmer ADX 100 Stereo
AT is Antares AutoTune

PAL is ???

It may be a plugin that came out later and that's why it's not on the list that I have. I don't know.

I talked to Steve a while back, about 2 years ago, I think. It was good to hear his voice again. Good guy.

Dan,

Second attempt --- inadvertently deleted the post as about to send it !!!!

I found the list and I think that the programme that you are refereing to is

Acuma Pro Audio Lab (Key F9AB-CBE4-3D21) basically a high level audio measuring and RTA plugin.

Re the Licence Key, if you install the Hack 2 system it does away with the requirement for a Licence key for anything (effects, OS, Brain Board EPROM, etc). hence the reason why I stated trhat if installed you could probably sell the power supply unit (I am presuming the entire Rack Unit, not just the Power Supply section of it (ie not just the transformer, electros, etc section of the Rack Unit).

Hope the above answers your PAL question.

Thanks, David. That must be it. Good find! I remember that plug-in’s name now.

About the hack. I would but I don’t know how and I’m really not into jumping through a bunch of hoops so I’m just going to do what I can do.

Bummer I didn’t do this earlier so I could have gotten the boards to your son in time.

Thanks again!
