Peter,

Great to hear from you and I know all about heart surgery and its recovery process. I trust that all is now OK. I had full open heart about 5yrs ago and as a result of another problem mid last year I now have three (that is correct !!!) pacemakers and a de-fib unit.

Thanks to Octupole I looked up all of the information he supplied and was actually going to give you a phone call (using both supplied numbers) either today or tomorrow to see if you were OK and to discuss the forum, BUT you have saved me the call.

Off topic and I can't recall if I told you, but the job you did on the D2T2U EP had one of the songs at the No. 1 position on both the local and Reverbnation charts for a nunber of weeks and in the top 5 position for about 7 months.

Again, great to hear from you and that you are well (at least sort of !!!)

Hi Peter;

Glad to see and hear that you are getting better. It is a long process. I too know about the recovery from a heart attack. Glad you are on the other side.

I echo Phil's thought on another person assisting with the administration side of things. It helps you and it helps the Forum!

Continued good health!

The way these damn BOTs are appearing, very soon it will be almost impossible to find a actual d8b post --- three today from the same person !!!!!

All,

Peter has been quite sick for the past months (what he has been through I went through a number of years ago so I understand fully his position) coupled with personal and moving problems, BUT today he was able to log in and has got rid of all of the bot posts, he is also intending to keep the forum up and running, in fact he paid the next period's web fees earlier today.

Currently he is virtually working out of cardboard boxes so has only limited internet access.

If the forum does eventually close, he is planning on retaining the Database and he will really only close the forum if it gets to a point where none of us (or other legitimate members) are actually posting --- so we know what we need to do to keep this super valuable forum running !!!!!!!

Phil,

When I get the donated desk set up and if what I think could have been the problem is not the problem, then before I finally trash it I will probably start "The Saga Part 3" topic to see if there are any fresh ideas !!!!!
