Keep in mind I am exhausted... how is the condition of your hard drive in the HDR, maybe it is having a hard time finding a place to write to.

I shouldn't be posting really cause I do not own a HDR.

The HD is ok Michael, but i've been thinking, if the switch is dirty....it might be possible that the recording light on it stays on and the actual switch to the recording breaks contact?
