I assume that you have OSv5.1 installed and all the cables between the CPU and the console, the video monitor, the keyboard and mouse plugged in and triple-checked.
Download the
Owner Manual for this version. Take a good read at the chapter 1, starting from page 4
1) Make sure your speakers are connected to the console as it says on page 6 chapter 1.
2) Make sure you have a sound source connected to channel 1.
3) Follow this list from the Manual.

Now, to send this channel to Cubase you need to route the channel to the tape outs.
Press the Route to tape button and lit up the assign button of the channel.
You should have sound in your audio interface now.
Finally, inside Cubase you have to create VST connections.
- Go to Devices>VST Connections [F4].
- In the Input tab, start adding mono buses to your audio interface. These are the inputs in the mixer inside Cubase.
- Go to the Outputs tab and create as many output buses you need as well. These are the outputs in the mixer inside Cubase.
