You're the man !!! lol It's working ! for controlling do i must be on HUI mode ?

If my monitors are connected to the sound card, i can listen the Cubase tracks but not in live.
If my monitors are connected to "Master Out" of the Mackie in can listen the live but not Cubase. :s

How can i connect the Headphones from the Record Room & The Mixer ? (the Both)

Thank you so much for your help !

Yes.

Read Page 6, Chapter 1. They have to be connected to Nearfield or Main.

Download the Hook Up Guide and check out the cables you need. To learn how to send the signals to the headphones read the Owner Manual, is your friend.

Good Luck!

No. The monitors must be connected to the Nearfield or Main outputs.

If you are not getting any sound then you are doing something wrong.

The Master level from Cubase, as you call it, is the Cubases default stereo output bus 1&2, and should be left at 0 db. It's supposed to be assigned to channels 25&26 in the tape return bank of the console (Check the VST connections>Outputs Tab).

To control your listening level you use the Speaker Level v-pot in the Control Room section of the console. Make sure you have the Master L-R button and the Near or the Main button lit up.

It would be nice if you could tell us what audio interface you are using and how it is connected to your d8b, and what cards you have in the TAPE IN/OUT slots.

All the DIO-8 cards need to be the exact same eprom version. I think v2.0 and v2.1 might work together I don't know but if you got the cards separately check to see if they are the same version.

Find this web page from the Mackie technical support web page

http://www.mackie.com/support/FAQ/d8b_d ... .html#dio8

and under…
Hardware::I/O Cards::DIO-8 Card (combination ADAT/TDIF)

you will find the information about the versions of the DIO-8 card. I have heard that v2.0 and 2.1 will work together but will be out of phase with each other but I have heard this from a reliable person so it is true although I have not checked it first hand.

Hope this helps,
Michael

It work, i have the microphone signal BUT no sound from Nearfield output or Main

I have 2 Inputs on my monitor KRK 8 (Jack & XLR) , if i connect the XLR with XLR to jack cable to the Sound card for listen Cubase and the Jack to the Mackie in "Studio Out" for live i think it will be working?

What about the Talkback ? I connect a monitor jack but no working :s i read the manual but i don't find the answer.

Do you get the signal in the master LR meters too?

Do you have the "LR Stereo" button lit up in the CONTROL ROOM section?
Connect your KRK8 to the Nearfield out with a TRS to TRS cable (See Hook Up Guide, page 3)
Lit up the Nearfield button in the CONTROL ROOM section.
Finally control your listening level with the Speaker Level v-pot.

You should have sound on the speakers now. If you don't, perhaps your board is defective.
