FrankH,

Not sure that you are correct about the TT24, remember I said that at least one past product was still going through the legal system.

Also, if you were a followerer of the TT24 forum. you would be aware of what we were all told was the basic demise of the desk ---- apparently that resaon was not correct --- more related apparently to a licensing issue or twenty. Hence the comment that it would not happen again.

I mentioned the TT24 specifically because I worked on it (designed the dual GUI's) from inception to release. Hardware and software was done in-house in Woodinville and Canada (Acuma, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mackie at the time). Sounds to me like Loud covering their butts for some godforsaken reason.

The DXB would be an excellent candidate for licensing issues...as that deal was a mess.

FrankH,

I will not argue with you about the TT34's background, I was only repeating what was told to me during my meeting/conversations.

It just came back to life this evening. Apparently it needed a lot of fixing, or a lot of someone's time that they didn't have. But no, they didn't intend to kill it.
